Akosua Bonsu is a globally recognised compliance authority, social risk strategist, environmental finance expert, humanitarian bridge-builder, and keynote speaker whose 19+ years of transformative work spans the intersection of environmental stewardship, social accountability, organizational governance, and community development across the United States, West Africa, the United Kingdom, the Caribbean, and internationally.
Her career spans some of the most demanding and consequential environments in both the public and private sectors. As Director of Risk Reduction at Metro-North Railroad, she directed a distinguished team of environmental compliance, safety engineering, industrial hygiene, and hazard analysis professionals across one of America's busiest commuter rail systems; achieving a 75% reduction in repeat incidents and overseeing the implementation of landmark Positive Train Control (PTC) capital projects that protect millions of passengers.
As Chief of EHS Compliance and Sustainability at the NYC Department of Environmental Protection, she authored institutional EHS policies and compliance frameworks; supervised environmental programs across 14 wastewater treatment plants and over 100 combined sewer operations; delivered safety training to over 6,000 NYC DEP employees; and collaborated directly with the NYC Mayor's Office of Recovery and Resiliency in shaping climate resiliency design guidelines adopted across all city agencies.
At Worldwide Securities, she served as Environmental and Social Risk Management Consultant; evaluating environmental and social risks for development projects and investment portfolios against World Bank Group, IFC, and international sustainability standards, partnering directly with fund managers, project officers, and community leaders across Ghana and West Africa. At the World Bank Group / BDSF, she served as Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist; reviewing and approving grant proposals against IFC standards, conducting rigorous field visits across 366 grant applicants throughout Ghana, and facilitating multi-stakeholder roundtable discussions with NGOs, government bodies, and community representatives.
Her work with Groundwork Trust in Manchester, UK, one of England's leading environmental NGOs, grounded her deeply in community-centered sustainability practice; developing carbon footprint models, resource efficiency tools, and ISO-aligned sustainability strategies for small and medium enterprises across Oldham and Rochdale. She has also contributed to UN, DANIDA, and EU-funded projects in environmental finance, social governance, and community resilience across West Africa, bringing international standards to locally meaningful outcomes.
She holds a Master of Science in Environmental Impact Assessment and Management from the University of Manchester; the intellectual foundation that gave her the rare and profound ability to see everything as connected: the factory and the river, the development project and the community beside it, the organization and every human being within it. Phyllis Squire is a seasoned sustainability strategist and communications expert whose career spans energy, corporate affairs, and sustainable development across Africa and internationally. With deep roots in Ghana's sustainability ecosystem, she brings a rare combination of policy intelligence, stakeholder communications, and sustainability leadership to RC Agency's advisory practice.
Phyllis has held senior roles across the energy and sustainability sectors including at British American Tobacco, Ophir Energy, and Mitsui & Co., where she managed government relations and infrastructure project development across Africa's energy division. She currently serves as Lead Advisor at Green Carpet 21, a sustainability communications firm in Ghana, where she helps organizations develop, implement, and report on their sustainability strategies and initiatives.
A graduate of the Sustainability Management School (SUMAS) in Switzerland, Phyllis brings an international perspective to sustainability governance that strengthens RC Agency's capacity to serve clients across West Africa and beyond. Her expertise in stakeholder engagement, ESG communications, and sustainability reporting makes her an invaluable bridge between RC Agency's technical compliance work and the broader sustainability narrative organizations need to lead with confidence.
Dzifa Amoa brings academic excellence and operational discipline to RC Agency's administrative core. A graduate of the University of Ghana and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), where she specialised in Human Resources Management, she combines strong institutional foundations with sharp organisational intelligence.
She manages client communications, project scheduling, documentation, and the day-to-day operations that keep RC Agency running at the highest standards. Her HR background gives her a unique sensitivity to people, process, and organizational culture; essential qualities in a compliance and transformation firm where human dynamics are at the heart of every engagement.
Sefakor Ahiabor leads RC Agency's operational infrastructure with a rare combination of supply chain mastery, human resources expertise, and strategic logistics management.
